In the short film The Crisisists we follow Violet, a young bookbinder that has become embroiled with a particular group of people. Led by the charismatic professor Agnes, the group explores ideas around simulated trauma through epileptic attacks. Can simulated trauma generate potential benefits? Maybe traumas are important lessons, not things to be avoided? The relation between the young bookbinder and the professor is revealed and simultaneously unravels. Will the bookbinder adopt the somewhat strange ideology of the professor, or formulate her own, alone?
